Heavy Duty Mechanic Journeyman/Apprentice

Full-Time | Day Shift - 11 days on, 3 days off

​

Duties can include:

​

· Work with the shop manager to coordinate service schedules and prioritize repairs

· Perform scheduled service and maintenance on remote equipment (generators/gearbox/hydraulic systems)

· Perform repairs and maintenance on construction equipment/ agriculture tractors/ highway trucks/ light vehicles and trailers

· Perform diagnostics on electrical and hydraulic systems

· Develop cost estimates, quote parts, and help manage inventories of critical parts

Qualifications/Skills

· Willingness to learn new skills and develop existing ones

· Electric and mechanical diagnostic skills

· Great communication skills and willingness to work in a team scenario

· Ability to prioritize in a busy work environment

· Contribute to maintaining a clean and organized work environment​​

· Journeyman ticket in heavy duty equipment preferred however, for the right person, we would also hire an apprentice

· Class 1 or 3 license considered an asset

· 1+ years in an agriculture mechanic role
